Hi, I’m Bryana, an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner based in Newmarket, Ontario.
I believe the body functions best when it can move freely and efficiently. When restrictions develop in the body’s tissues, joints, and surrounding structures, they can affect overall movement, comfort, and function. My role is to help identify and address these restrictions so the body can adapt, recover, and function as a whole.
Using a gentle, hands-on approach, I assess and treat the entire body rather than focusing solely on the area where symptoms are felt. Treatment is tailored to each individual and may include joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and osteopathic manual therapy designed to improve mobility, reduce tension, and support overall health.
Osteopathic treatment may help with a variety of concerns including back and neck pain, headaches, postural strain, stiffness, sports and overuse injuries, and ongoing movement restrictions. Many patients also seek osteopathic care to support recovery, improve physical function and maintain overall well-being.
My background includes extensive education in human movement, anatomy, and osteopathic principles. I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Western University before completing a four-year Master in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (MOMSC) program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, including, 4,200 hours of training and 1,000 supervised clinical hours.
I am a professional member of Osteopathy Canada (OSTCAN), recognized by many extended health benefit plans.
